Brush Project: Huskers

At first I just had the little logo. Then I made it a stamp and brush stamped it all along the picture so you see that pattern in the background. I used gradient and made it fade from red to white. Then I used a stamp of this football to put on top.

For this picture I basically took the swirl designs from a lot of different pictures and then used a brush stamp to make this.

Clean Background and Filling the Frame


This picture is taken with the blurred background so there are no distractions behind the sunflower and you just look at the sunflower. It also fills the frame.

Rule of Thirds


So, this example isn't the greatest but I like the picture and I think it does kind of fall under this rule since your focus all goes to that part of the picture.

Strong Center of Interest

I thought this picture was cool because you can see how the wood is coming out of the one post a little bit and how the posts are joined.

Using Lines to Lead the Eye


I think this one leads the eyes because of the tire marks on the bridge, then the next bridge and down the road.
